Life is just a bowl of....broad beans?

My eldest daughter's wedding is on Saturday 11th August, here in Dorset - so I am a little bit preoccupied right now. Though I am still trying to keep up with my blog reading (I hate to miss anything! And its so relaxing) and trying to keep cheerful in the new crappy job.

Preoccupied, my friend, and you are probably very busy too - weddings are complex undertakings. My thoughts are with you, concerning the wedding and that crappy job too.
Ah, I was wondering what happened to you. For a happy diversion you should try to get your hands on the book "Coronation talkies: a novel of 1930s India" by Susan Kurosawa (an Australian). Great fun read!
Fingers crossed for wonderful weather on the day. We were so lucky with my daughter's wedding on 5th May - the last sunny weekend before the miserable weather. Look forward to returning to hear how it all went.

Oh happy happy wedding. I am sitting waiting for the birth of my second grandchild and trying to keep cheerful in my old crappy job.
I hope that your daughter's wedding went well. She had wonderful weather for it anyway which is a triumph in itself this summer! I wish her and her new husband a long and happy marriage.
